What is an Islamic Relief Club?
Our Mission
To mobilize Canadians to transform more lives around the world in the most trusted manner.
Our Vision
A more compassionate and just world where no one is left behind.
Change Starts Here
Islamic Relief Canada Clubs are student-led post-secondary institution chapters of Islamic Relief Canada that execute events and campaigns to promote Islamic Relief's work to the student community. These clubs provide a platform for students to mobilize their peers, raise awareness about global humanitarian issues, and fundraise for charitable causes supported by Islamic Relief Canada.
These clubs are an essential part of our work, uniting students with a shared commitment to humanitarian causes.
How it All Began
Fundraising Initiatives
Learn about some of our innovative and impactful fundraising campaigns.
Auctions
During Charity Week, clubs host fundraising auctions to support orphans and children around the world! These auctions are engaging, fun and are a great way to bring the whole university community together.
Grand Iftars
Our Grand Iftars are one of our most loved national campaigns around the country. During Ramadan, clubs come together to host their very own in support of a specific cause. These events require extensive planning and lots of fun!
2013
The first Islamic Relief Canada club was established at the University of Alberta with a mission to inspire and empower a new generation of compassionate leaders.
2024
Now, with over 30 clubs across six provinces, Islamic Relief Clubs have grown into an impactful network dedicated to creating lasting change.
