Join us in partnership with Canada Palestine Cultural Association and Run for Palestine Edmonton for Rebuilding from the Rubble, an evening of reflection and conversation with Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, a Palestinian-Australian emergency physician trainee and humanitarian who has volunteered in hospitals in Gaza. 🩺

Dr. Mustafa was born in Saudi Arabia to a Palestinian family and trained in medicine in the UK before continuing his emergency medicine training in Australia. He has completed two volunteer medical postings in Gaza, providing emergency care in hospitals during the ongoing crisis. Through his firsthand experiences and advocacy, he has shared the realities of healthcare in Gaza and continues to support efforts focused on the wellbeing of Palestinian children.

🌿 Together, we will reflect on Palestine — its people, its history, its resilience, and the human stories that can sometimes become lost behind the headlines.

Through Dr. Mustafa’s perspective as both a doctor and a Palestinian, we’ll explore what it means to witness suffering, hold onto hope, and continue rebuilding even in the face of unimaginable circumstances. 🤲🏼🕊️

In support of Palestine, this event is an opportunity to come together, listen, reflect, and channel our concern into meaningful action.
